Things you cannot do with a Kindle

In my opinion, books should never be worshipped. A good book, to be fully appreciated, needs to be thoroughly desecrated, used, worked on, annotated ... The ideas in it need to be examined from all sides, disagreed with, put out in sun and rain, looked at again with fresh eyes ...

If you want a book to make a lasting impression on your soul, your soul needs to have interacted with it. And that interaction is what a pen is for.

And that is something you really cannot do with a Kindle.
